Jonathan is a Senior Consultant with Schaffer Consulting. With over thirteen years of cross-industry consulting experience, Jonathan has helped numerous clients tackle complex business challenges and address the human aspects associated with change initiatives. At the core of every project he delivers is the achievement of bottom-line business results - not analysis, reports, or recommendations - in very short periods of time, typically less than 100 days. This ensures a fast, measurable return on investment for his clients, plus a robust learning opportunity for project participants. Jonathan's broad understanding of key business issues, knowledge and experience in the area of information technology, acute sensitivity to human dynamics in the workplace, and ability to foster strong working relationships are real assets he brings to his consulting work.
Jonathan's work at Schaffer leverages the Rapid Results Approach and GE-style WorkOuts. He has collaborated with teams at Zurich Financial Services, ConAgra, HBOS, Schering-Plough, Columbia University, Pepsi, Gannett, Cisco, MPAC, and the US Small Business Administration to help their organizations streamline complex business processes and enhance their overall performance.
Prior to joining Schaffer, Jonathan was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked on information security risk management projects. He was also an organizational development consultant with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York and an analyst in the Process division of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).
Jonathan holds an MA degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
