Cornelis Tanis

Cornelis is an affiliate with Schaffer Consulting. He enjoys helping clients with the process of shaping challenging demands for results and then empowering teams to find new ways to realize them, fast. His ability to simplify complex business issues, his broad, 15 years of experience in technology-driven organizations, and his sensitivity to both results and personal growth are qualities he brings to the consulting relationship. He appreciates how human factors at all levels in the organization are key to achieving success in results-driven change initiatives.

In his work with Schaffer Consulting, Cornelis has helped teams and leaders at TNO and Arcadis Mobility use the Rapid Results approach to accelerate the commercialization of new technologies and improve the profitability of design projects.

Prior to joining Schaffer Consulting as an affiliate, Cornelis was managing director of a specialized Dutch consultancy firm, focusing on improving sales and projects performance of European clients in professional services, information technology, and the insurance sector. He also was a consultant and research programme director for a leading enterprise systems vendor – working closely with global clients and consulting partners.

Cornelis holds an MBA from the University of Kent (U.K.) and has a BSc. in Agricultural Engineering.

Prior to working with Schaffer Consulting, Elaine was a senior executive with a major financial services company. She earned an Honours BSc in Combined Sciences from the University of Leicester, U.K, and was formerly a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
